Calls for aviation and tourism industries to unite and commit to recovery
The aeronautics and tourism industries in Africa are mobilizing to develop their connectivity despite the health crisis.
June 11, 2021. This year marked the fifth edition of AviaDev Africa with the online event welcoming over 1200+ attendees from 80+ countries who joined in proactive discussions aimed at enhancing air connectivity to, from, and within the continent.
With many aviation stakeholders facing uncertainty, this was a chance for the African aviation community to come together to forge new collaborations and partnerships to ensure that Africa remains connected regionally and internationally.
Over 250 route development meetings, roundtable sessions and networking opportunities were held during the successful event.
